I think you're ahead more than 90% of the time here. I doubt he will call without a club here, though, so I don't see much value.

i agree and that's why i checked behind to be shown AT.

but i've found myself in this spot alot in the last month or so and when i check behind it is NEVER a flush...meaning a flush, even the 7th nut or whatever, donks this river like always. so while he's probably folding to my river bet once he checks i still think i almost always have the best hand so a bet is correct just to give him a chance to make a bad call. i dunno though maybe i'm wrong. does anyone check a flush here? (i mean villians, not you guys)

This is a check IMO, he will either fold if he has a pair or 2, and he will usually not pay this off without a flush, you might also get c/r and not be able to show down, i think this is a clear check line.
