Default Full Tilt\'s Bracelet Race

Just received this email today:

Dear Tilter,

Congratulations on your finish in our recent "Race For Bracelets"™
tournament. We are pleased to tell you that $500 has been previously
placed in your account, and the remaining $1,500 will be deposited in
your
Full Tilt Poker account approximately 4 weeks prior to the start of the
WSOP. You can use the funds toward the entry fee for any of the WSOP
tournaments, including the Main Event.

Please note, you are responsible for your own travel arrangements and
expenses.

Your Package also includes Full Tilt Poker gear, please reply to this
e-mail with your shirt size and the mailing address you would like the
gear sent to.

Congratulations again on your fine play.

Regards,

Team Full Tilt

So does this mean, I just get the money in my account, and I don't have to play in the event? It's kind of ambiguous, because it says it will be put in my account, but that I can use it toward any WSOP event. But can I use it as regular bankroll? If so, there's no way I can justify buying into a $1500 tournament on my bankroll.

Yes I got the same email a few days after I won, which was a few weeks ago. Then today, I just got this new email, which is part of the reason I'm so confused.

I got the same email the other poster referenced that you said you got originally. Haven't seen this one yet. I'm kind of in the same boat. If I don't "have" to play then from a bankroll management perspective I probably shouldn't (although I might anyway). The details on their web site haven't been changed either. It still says that the $1500 will be as $1500 in tournament chips.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they just put the money into your account but it's not something I would plan on.

i've only gotten the original e-mail (about 3 weeks ago), but nothing like the OP got since.

seems like they would send it to everyone that won one of these.

they will just give you the cash. you won't need to buy in to anything. you will need to email support and get a fax number so that you can fax them a copy of your id. At least, this is what happens with the winners choice tournament. I never did get my ftp clothing though.
