I suck at blind play, whats the usual play here? 5.50/45man
My tendency is to put him allin here, is that correct though? He had only been at my table about 8 hands and had not showdown a hand and nothing out of the ordinary really.

Re: I suck at blind play, whats the usual play here? 5.50/45man
1) Hero raises to 450.
SB folds. 2) Hero raises to 450. SB raises and is all-in. Hero folds. 3) Hero raises to 450. SB calls. Flop comes xxx SB checks. Hero bets 700. SB folds. For scenario 2, I wouldn't want to shove directly... I've seen people completing with monsters more than once, because of exactly that play. Raise it and see where you're at. Many players on that level complete SB with sc, or just crap like Q10o... Raise it and c-bet it imo... Anyone for shoving? |

Re: I suck at blind play, whats the usual play here? 5.50/45man
i wouldnt wanna shove on that lvl it will only get you 225 and youre putting youre tourney life on the line
in this case i would just raise to 450 fold to a push and c-bet the flop shoving is when either the blinds are more worth stealing like the 100/200 or 100/200/25 or when you are low stacked |

YOur tourney life is NOT on the line.
If we shove and lose, we have 1k chips left All in. And in a couple of rounds, sb will be folding! |
