I approve. BBV is not the place these days for low content poker hands, and a lot of us don't read that forum anyway. But as opposed to the NL forums, where there are thousands of posters who all play online, a vast majority of us are live Vegas, California, Foxwoods, and AC players who have great stories to tell from the brick & mortar felt.

Whoever wants to create a low-content thread is welcome to do so. My only guidance would be to not do too many of them (one per month is fine, maybe 2 if necessary) and to keep the posts relatively cordial. It's not an excuse to get into a flaming match.

Fourthed. It's like "seconded", but squared.

OK. I will go first. This guy was playing very loose passive. Like 44/2/.5

I was certain he sucked very bad but not this bad.

I was actually concerned that my flop raise was spewy against his donk into 2 guys. Well, I guess we learned how badly stats can interfere with things.

The whole thing seems like he is a 2 year old with a very poor memory near a fire. "Ow, thats hot. Ow, thats hot. Ow, that is still bloody hot."

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
3 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises</font>, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6SB, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, Button folds, SB calls.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, SB calls.

River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (9BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, SB calls.

Results:
Final pot: 13BB

SB: shows 22

Now that I see what is meant by LC here is my contribution:

From last night's 40-80 at CAZ:

4 or 5 limpers, I don't remember. I just call in SB w/ AKo.

Flop: AAA

I bet, MP calls, LP calls, IIRC.

Turn: Q

I bet, MP raises, LP folds, I 3-bet and MP says: 'You WOULD be the type to bet 4 Aces! I feel like an idiot but I call.'

River: Does it matter?

I bet, MP calls, I show the Ace and he goes 'AARRRRGGGGGHHH'!

Ok my turn. 4 super show-downers limps and I limp 88 in the co.

Sb raises, BB 3-bets, limpers call till the last one who caps it for fun, 7 way capped pot.

Flop Q63r, checked to me?!?!?! I bet most call.

Turn 4, checked to me I bet, BB and one limper call.

River 2, checked to me I bet, bb calls and mucks.

Forgot the best part: SB checked dark.

20/40 live. Dude opens in MP. 3 callers including BB. I folded.

Flop comes AAx. Checks around.

On Turn BB says: "well, I guess I'll bet." MP pfr is the only caller.

On River BB checks and calls MP's bet. MP shows AA for quads. BB mucks and says: "Nice kicker, sir."

couple weekends ago I go to foxwoods, and I'm playing stud waiting for a HE seat to open. I get rolled up aces and it's completed and raised by the time it gets to me. I'm playing fast and the table is playing fast so I just make it sixty and play it fast the whole way. long story short I lose. should have just gone home.

by saturday night I'm down about 110 bets and it's the worst weekend of my life. Nothing is going right. I get another sign when I raise AT and pizza tommy folds right behind me. I flop broadway and get called down. pizza tommy tells me he folded T9 - he's never folded T9 against me in his life. I lose about 5-7 turn bets on that one.

But I keep a good attitude, get a good nights sleep, and show up sunday morning ready to play. It's a new day and I'm feeling great. Every thing's looking up. I buy in for three racks to boost my confidence.

So my first hand I post my big blind, there are some limpers, guy I don't know but has an aggro vibe raises, some callers, I call another bet with 64.

flop 662. awesome, it's a new day.
I bet, a couple callers, guy raises, I 3bet, lost somebody, guy caps.

turn 4. now I'm just giggling.
I check, dude bets, I raise, he 3bets, I 4bet, he 5bets, I 6bet, he 7bets, I 8bet, he calls. I can't contain myself.

river 8.
I bet, he raises. whoa, wait, wtf? no sir. you did not just give me all that turn action with 88. not today. It's a new day for chrissakes. I 3bet, he 4bets. I vomit and start shaking. new day my ass. Ok I call. 86 is good. not my weekend. good thing I bought in for three racks.

So I've been playing less LHE these days. You too can experience amazing hands like this:

Casino Arizona 5-150. UTG, a terrible regular who looks creepily like John D'Agostino, like stands-in-front-of-a-mirror-grooming-his-facial-hair-to-look-more-like-John-D'Agostino's, limps. I make it $20 in LP with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Loose SB calls. UTG calls.

Flop K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Checked to me. I bet $40. SB folds. UTG tanks, shaping and reshaping his formerly D'Agostino-molded chin-hair, and also rubbing his eyes fiercely, possibly deep in a mental replay of the hand in which I stacked him the night before.

Finally he sits up very straight and shoves his $120 over the line. I instantly call.

The dealer burns and turns and burns and turns for a final board of K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG says "I got nothing," so I table my hand and grab a couple white chips to tip with.

I'm surprised when UTG turns over his hand, because he usually wouldn't do that, and even more surprised when he repeats what he said, except this time it sounds more like "I got lucky," which must be what he said the first time given that his hand was in fact J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Me: "Nice hand."
Rest of table: [Stunned silence. The dealer takes at least six seconds to even begin to muck my hand.]
Him: "I didn't think you had a king."
