What\'s CAZ like on Sunday & Monday?
I'm going to be in Phoenix this weekend and was wondering what I can expect to find on Sunday afternoon & evening and then on Monday evening? Are there any tournaments going on then and are there always low limit games available?
Thanks. |

CAZ's website. Click the poker link for the tourney schedule. There are always low-limit HE games no matter when you go and there will be plenty of them except maybe at 4am when there will be just a few.

How about Tuesday and Wednesday evenings? I might be in town next week. Do their tournaments get the full 170 people? Or would I be better off trying a different place? Double Deuce (as I read about on this board)? I prefer lower limit kill games and NL Tournaments.

Just to be on the safe side you should buy your ticket by 5:30 for the 7pm start. That's a bit early (once upon a time Id've said 5:00 pm) but that'll make sure you are not an alternate (the last 20). There will be at least 15 3-6/4-8 games going. |

Re: What\'s CAZ like on Sunday & Monday?
Tuesday and Wednesdays are packed. The room will have 15 tournament tables and 30 live games at 7 pm. As the tournament tables break they fire up a live game on the table almost immediately.
You will have all the low limit kill action you could ask for. |
