Default famous extras/cameos in movies

i was watching The Dead Pool on tv the other day and noticed Guns n Roses (well at least Slash, Duff McKagen and Axle) in the background during a scene at a funeral. it reminded me that The Clash appeared in the background of a street scene in Scorsese's King of Comedy. can any of you think of any other famous cameos or extras in movies? by this i mean blink-and-you'll-miss-it type appearances, not ones where the stars actually had lines or anything. it doesn't have to be musicians, it's coincidental that my examples are rock groups.

"Alfred Hitchcock made a total of 37 self-referential cameos in his films over a 50 year period (from 1926-1976)"

Staying with the theme of musicians appearing in cameos:

The Tragically Hip played themselves as a curling team in Men With Brooms.

Note: I don't expect anyone who isn't Canadian to have heard of either The Hip or that movie but still...

Flea as a nihilist in The Big Lebowski (though he might have had a line)

I think Tom Cruise is in one of the Young Guns movies. He's dressed up as a gunfighter and has a big fake beard so he's unrecognizable, then gets shot or something.

Billy Crystal and Dana Carvey are the mimes in Spinal Tap at the record company party. I don't think Carvey was famous at the time, though.

Richard Branson is getting searched at security in the airport in Casino Royale. Blink and you'd miss it.
