Default so how do i exctract max value here

I've been running like ass and am down to 12x smaller stakes than i played like two weeks ago... sigh

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$0.25/$0.50 Blinds
4 Players
Lego Poker Hand Converter

Stack Sizes
SB: $128.75
Hero (BB): $72.60
UTG: $116.65
BTN: $89.10

Preflop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($0.75, 4 Players)
2 folds, SB raises to $1, Hero calls $0.50

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($2, 2 Players)
SB bets $2, Hero raises to $7, SB calls $5

Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($16, 2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $10, SB raises to $20

since his range is reeeeeally wide here, what do you think the best move is in this situation?

Call...

Hoping he shoves on the river. Or bets and you raise the river.

(Btw Never minraise preflop)

I would raise here, he obviously likes his hand, but if its something such as 2 pair with a straight draw and the river comes blank he probably wont be calling much unless he has a 9, but if he has a 9 hell be calling a raise on the turn anyway so theres no reason not to raise.

Sometimes ppl donking miniraises to see where they stand. With flatcalling you inducing a bluff from worse hands. He calls any 9 on the turn as wel as the river and fold anything else. So why don't we give him another attempt to stab at the pot??

** Edit by flatcalling we can pretend an overpair and he thinks his set is good enough...

Well the keyword there is sometimes. But I actually changed my mind after re-reading, because he smoothcalled the 3-bet on the flop then checked the turn I would take it to the river becuase he A. Made his hand on the flop or B. Is looking for the straight, so I would take it o the river knowing I have position on him and he is more than likely drawing dead.

Btw don't we forgetting he could have a hand like 98 or 96?

Or is the money going in here all the time?

You giving him 3 to 1 odds... He could have anything

***Edit: Sometimes is not the keyword. You must complete his range to make a good discision.

Pop it up here, the way he played it he rarely has a draw here, so by calling there are a bunch of cards that limit your earn on this hand. Spades/7/5/T all hurt your hand, especially cause his range is straights/trips a lot. Just shove.
