Poker on Xanax?

Has anyone else tried this? Serious question.

A friend was prescribed this stuff a while back but never actually took the pills, so he hands them out like candy. I'd never tried the stuff before, but they came highly recommended from some other friends who had sampled the stash. Tonight, after taking a number of bad beats with my usual grace, I thought that anti-anxiety medication sounded pretty good, so I took a pill about half an hour into my session. It's pretty fantastic. I'm completely mellow, but still capable of critical thinking. Beats have no effect on me, and because I'm no longer thinking about how much the universe despises me (I've been running bad), I think that my judgment at the tables is improved. Does anyone else have any experience with this?

i have that in my bag all the time, and im serious. i havent taken them in like 6 months or so though.

I prefer vicodin and a few beers.. its not for everyone but, it helps me loosen up my weak/tight ass.

After I got appendicitis this past fall, I regularly played on oxycodone. I played some of my best poker ever, and was basically incapable of tilt. I kinda miss it.

I used to take xanax and adderol at the same time right before tournies.. It helped i think but once i fell out of my chair when i got up.

IF your eating bars you will pass out every session......Xanax is a terrible drug for your brain and memory so I dont reccomend it (but way 2 fun not 2 do), this coming from a person whos done it every day for the past few months...

People really take Xanax for fun? I pop one every once in a while to sleep, but it doesn't seem like a very good recreational drug.

you won't pass out if you take it with adderol. and don't take full bars at once if you are trying to play poker on them. If you are trying to have fun take many. Bars are so much fun.
