It was "bad luck" for mike, but remember donkey mike "raised" benyamine on the turn $50K AFTER the flush card came. That's just a horrendous play period. 1- nothing you can beat will call you there, 2- by just calling you induce more bluffing on the river.

So his $50K donkaraise cost him half his stack. Then he loses a race and is broke.

He's a awful player I'm sorry. He needs to stick with tournaments. He has given all of his tourney wins and then some to the high stakes cash players.

He did the same moronic TP raise against the rock ferguson in HSP. Just total donkey plays. Negreanu is right, Matusow is an eventual train wreck. Tournaments fit his style b/c in a tournament you can't blow up for $100K. You can only blowup for your buyin. And he just blows up, and will continue to until people stop loaning him money which I can't believe anyone would give that guy a penny to play any cash game. Tournaments, sure, I'd buy a piece of him in a tournament.
