Default Borgata STT

Anyone play these at all? Thinking of making a trip tomorrow and considering playing in a few of these only I never see them mentioned in this forum. Anyone have experience with these?

I'm sure the opponents are all horrible, but I won't go near that vig.

Yeah the vig is nasty and the structure is pretty bad too:

But the play is bad enough that it just might be worth it; I've had a decent amount of success with them in the past.

I played in one of these during the past Borgata Poker Open.
The vig wasn't that bad ($250+20), and they actually extended the level time by 5 minutes during the Poker Open. Nevertheless, it was still a total crapshoot and the blinds were enormous after the first hour.

Nevertheless, I made a $600 profit from a three-way split, in large part because the players had no clue about tournament strategy.

For example, I was a super-short stack on the money bubble (4-handed) and push all-in on the button for less than twice the big blind. Both blinds folded.

Still, I would be hesitant to play in another one, especially if the level length were back to what it normally is. (I can't remember...10 min. or 15 min.)

I don't see how a 20$ fee on a 250$ buy in is bad vig??

The vig on the $250+20 isn't bad. I think it is mostly the $100+20 and $60+15 that people are referring to. But the structure is terrible for all of them.

Um....have you played in any of these tournaments? There were no stacks larger than 15 BBs. After that, I doubled up once and was about average.
