Default set up for multitabling online!

I currently play 6 tables of NL fullring at stars but want to add 2 more tables and work on getting some more VPPs and FPPs and hopefully get some of the bonuses. But I only have a 19inch monitor it works OK for 6 tables but when you make it 8 there is some overlaping and I hate that.

Now my video card supports 2monitors but I think It would be easier if I just get a bigger monitor and have all the talbes there than split them between 2monitors?

what do you guys think, should I go with 2 or just 1 big one? and if you think 1monitor will do the job how big should get it so that there wouldnt be any overlapoing when I play 8tables?

any help appreciated,

live with overlap, i do 9 on a 17", it's not the worst thing in the world

i say you go with 1 big monitor, switching between 2-3 monitors is not so fun

I just went from a 17" monitor where i 4 tabled to a 22" where I can 9 table without overlap. I would suggest 24" in order to 12 table at Stars without overlap. However I did find 9 tables about right. Not sure how I would handle 12.

Anyone have any tips on being able to actually mentally handle this? I'm not a moron (well, some people think I am ) but I can't deal with more than 2 at a time, I've played more, but I've always lost my ass at them.

I used to be like this when I first started on paradise back in the day. One day I was chatting with a player who was 3 tabling at the time. It blew me away, imaginng how on earth he was typing and playing 3 tables at the same time.
It just takes practice and you'll get the hang of it. It's also much easier when you're playing NL games. Nowadays I can comfortably 12 table without any problems.
