Default Theme for T10 Show

According to Sligh's blog, this upcoming week's theme will be "music from the 90s." Just wanted to throw that out there.

There's two different sources on IdolForums saying that they changed it from "90s music" to "pop songs". Gwen Stefani is the coach.

Ah, okay, good to know. Well, if it's pop songs, I think we'll see Blake and Jordin as the top performers only because it's a genre they will likely handle well. I also expect Gina to improve upon last week.

Chris R will do fine but won't show anything new since he's tried to turn everything into crappy pop music so far.

Melinda and Lakisha will do fine (Lakisha not as much) but won't really "shine" when compared to others who will handle pop music better than other genres.

Phil and Sligh will be hit or miss. Both have the potential to really knock out a pop song.

Haley will be her usual mediocre self, but a good song selection could keep her in a positive light.

Sanjaya is Sanjaya, and I really hope he sings a Hanson song. It would be the highlight of the night.

Why wouldn't Melinda be able to nail a "pop song"? What's to prevent her from picking a power pop ballad, same for Lakisha?

Not sure I get this theme.

They should all be able to find a song that suits them best. There is no excuse for being uncomfortable with the music this week.

No matter what the theme is, they just pick from a list that the producers give them, so it's not always their fault that they can't find a song that doesn't suck.

Haley should seriously consider singing "I Touch Myself".

If Sanjaya sang that, I'd vote for him until the season ended.

Sanjaya should do "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred from 1992.
