Strategy for rebuy satellites.

What is optimal strategy for rebuy satellites?
i.e. Stars $27+r wsop to $650 qual.
Are you guys just taking the initial rebuy and playing "normal" poker, or are you pushbotting these. It seems like -ev to be flipping for stacks early as this can get spendy and not guarantee you a seat.

depends on the table, i rebuy at the start and then just play poker. Most people in the sats are horrible, when they ran EPT $13r sats, there used to be 3 pretty close to each other in a day, i final tabled all three 3 days in a row.

Basically you have to be willing to gamble a bit, but obviously you don't want to be in for 10rebuys.

The turbo ones i tend to rebuy at start and play like a freezeout, and often don't rebuy if i bust since its a crapshoot really quick. In the 27r none turbo i will rebuy if i bust, but i'll be playing it like a freezeout mostly so shouldn't bust that often.

TBH the main part of rebuys you need to learn is the end game, thats more important than the rebuy time.

i play close to the same but if i have a read where i was not sure and would fold in a normal tourney, i tend to call here and just rebuy if it is wrong
