Cake/Sportsbook money disappearing?
Playing on Cake right now and there are 3 or 4 people on two of my tables in the observer chat talking about the site crashing last night and when it did, they closed their tables and the money they had on the tables never got put back into their accounts. in some cases ~$1200 or so.
normally i would just dismiss this as railbird making up a sob story to get a stake, but with that many people talking about it on two different tables, there's gotta be some legitimacy to the story. the one person said that they've been on hold w/ sportsbook for like and hour and all they've said through e-mail is that they'll look into it. anyone know anything about this? |

Re: Cake/Sportsbook money disappearing?
Happened to me (~$1500 missing). I emailed pitboss@sportsbook.com, and it was fixed in an hour.
The software sucks, but the customer support gets my approval. |

Re: Cake/Sportsbook money disappearing?
This is true. I was missing $105.XX from a .5/1 NLHE table I played last night. The software was freezing up, so when you would leave a table, it would never credit your "stack" back to you account.
Fast Forward about 10 hours, I log onto to sportsbook.com's poker room and I am missing $105.xx I contact support and start chatting with other players. Everyone is going through the same thing. I just got my $$ back about 30 minutes ago. No explanation from support yet. Its easy to get $$ on (any CC works from what I can tell) and there are huge fish on the site, but the software sucks and I hear you cant even cashout on that site. Bottom line, stay away. I cant wait to go busto on there lol |

Re: Cake/Sportsbook money disappearing?
wait, wtf, i really doubt you can't cash out, there is NO WAY people would have thousands and thousands of dollars on the site if you can't cash out.

Re: Cake/Sportsbook money disappearing?
There have been links posted in the Zoo where others have had problems getting cash outs from sportsbook.com (not sure about Cake)
Also a few players on there have said that they have had their cash outs cancelled multiple times due to "technical issues". Take it for whats its worth, they just dont seem like they are on the up and up. Be cautious if you play there. |

Epassporte is fully up and running now, although they're still working on the check thing. |

Re: Cake/Sportsbook money disappearing?
This happened to me also. I had ~400 get caught up in some kind of limbo when the site froze late last night or early this morning. It took a little while to get sorted out, but I have the money back now.
As for the whole cashout process, I think they really are trying there best to get things up and running smoothly. I know there are a lot of rumors floating around that they are busto and not gonna pay. I'm still in the camp that thinks they just had big time problems finding a processor in the last month or so. We'll see I guess. |

Re: Cake/Sportsbook money disappearing?
Talked to Sportsbook CS last Thursday and the guy said that the new check processor was scheduled to start working (ie cutting the checks) sometime Monday (yesterday).
