Friday or Sunday? What's the better day, ev wise, at the Borgata 10/20 and 20/40 LHE games?

Nobody? Limited to overnighters. I know Saturday is a must. Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday are my choices.

I actually think that the Friday night games are the best b/c people are punchy, tired and steamed from work and just generally play really badly with a loose laggy pre-text. That's my experience there - Sat games are excellent also.

I would agree with Jeffage here. Sunday is too hit or miss.

It's true, I usually play thursday - Saturday night/Sunday morning and each day has it's own vibe.

Thursdays - are a day for bad regulars. This is the day of rich business men who get out of their jobs early and head directly to the casino. They are in the mood to play cards. However unfortunately many have been doing this for quite some time and are not as fishy as you'd expect. Still a great game by any means. Also Thursday games usually break to one table and then a 5-7 handed game which is always fantastic.

Fridays - are usually amazing games. The best of the week. Whenever I think about stepping up and taking shots I always say only on Fridays. There is the major Borgata tournament and besides Jeffage's excellent advice, many players are either excited to play (before noon) so the games get going early and the action is loose as most players are set on making 280 or they have just busted out and are eager to make back their 280 and are most likely a little steamed. (even just a little)

Saturdays - are usually pretty casual with weekend regulars and low key excitement. The high point of the day is when the waiters walk around with free food and everyone forgets for a moment that the food has cost them a few thousand dollars. The games stay late and game selection is often good.

Sundays - I've only played twice on Sundays but both times I found the game surprisingly good. Players seemed more concerned with their weekend adventures or plans for the week leaving the games sorta weak-passive. The action isn't as severe but occasionally you'll find an extremely stuck player who's been playing far too long and won't leave till he's broke.

This may be entirely wrong information. But it's my experiences at the Borg. Hope it helps.

I decided on going to AC this weekend. I was contemplating leaving tomorrow, but after reading this, I think I'm leaving after work tonight.

Thanks for the replies, everybody. Friday/Saturday it is. Friday night rooms are actually cheaper west of the Parkway opposed to Saturday night so the ev just went up a bit more without leaving the house.
