Mathematics of Poker

Hi

Would this book be beneficial for a mid-stakes online MTT/SNG player?

I am in my final year of a Masters in Aeronautical engineering, so I don't expect the math itself to be a problem. I am just worried that it will only be an "interesting" read with little application for my game.
