however, I don't think he bets here without a king very often, and if he does it's usually air. he is "havemycash" on stars. he loves to check raise instead of c betting. the $40 flop underbet is two way. get value from AK and stop a check raise. it worked, i guess. ha.

why did you check the turn based on what you said about your flop play? also, doesnt checking the flop work better to stop a check/raise than betting the flop, which (as i understand it) actually ALLOWS him to check/raise?

Well, yeah. Forgot to mention that the underbet, which I don't think he's seen from me before, slows him down. He may have check raised a normal bet but the $40 bet scared him.

As for the turn, I might bet there sometimes but I think he tosses AK or CR AK vs a turn bet so I'm happy to let the river hit free.

also sets me up for my awsome river overbet shoves. meta game yo.
