Signs a girl likes you?

Do you guys know any good ways to find out if the girl is into you during the date without giving away a lot of infortmation? Basically I'm wondering if there's a way to find out if she wants a kiss without actually having to make the move to kiss her.

For instance, I rememeber reading a post saying if you pet her hair and she likes it and doesnt take your hand away then she wouldnt mind a kiss. Are there any other tips like this one, but maybe better?
