250-500NL Warsaw Hand
Weird/Intresing hand at warsaw I obsversed. First orbit at the table. Hero is the famous Empiremaker. Villian is Andy Black. Two limpers. Empiremaker makes it 10k. Andy Black cold calls out of the small blind. Limps fold.
Flop is A88. Black checks. Empiremaker bets 7k. Black calls. Turn A Black open shoves for 35k. What hand range do you put black on? What hands does EM2 need to call? |

I assumed preflop raise was a misclick even though he was acting like it wasn't. I didn't think Andy Black was representing much of a hand so EM2 might have to call light here (with TT+). Andy Black has a crazy reputation but it also presumably a pro and a big winner. What hands could be be bluffing with here? Does he really cold called 1/5th of his stack preflop with a pair lowers then 8s? Also AK is the really ace that makes sense but I think he would shove this preflop. Would he really cold call with AT-AQ? |
