Default Random Generator, my azz...

I was just got my mail from yesterday and recieved a Federal Jury Duty notice. I just served my State's Jury Duty on January 8th of this year. Here's the screwy thing; I've been eligible for Jury duty for 15 years and I've served my state's service 3 times. I have never served Federal but I'd hate to keep up this pace.

My mother has served 4x for state and 2x for Federal. Whereas, my father who is 64, has only served the state's jury once and my brother has never served; all are voters.

I'm thinking I'd be better off not registering for vote if I'm going to keep this pace up.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

dont think being registered to vote matters. Ive never registered to vote ever, and ive been summoned. I think it goes by DMV, so maybe if you never got a drivers license youd be safe

Explain that as long as prostitution is forbidden, you just don't feel comfortable enforcing any American laws.

In CA I think so. I Always get a notice like 3-4 weeks after renewing. This last time was the first time I even considered showing up.

Ive been summoned twice in Nevada. I'm not going. I got pulled over a month ago and had no warrant or anything. F jury duty.

When I got one for MA I found out I could defer it up to 1 year, so I deferred it for the full year. By then I had a different address and I never heard back.

You must stand out like a sore thumb in a jury box full of normal-sized people.

Jury selection is rigged.

tell them you believe in Jury Nullification - instant disqualification -

What is Jury Nullification? - Let's say they throw a guy on trial for smoking weed (which is still big penalties in some places) - I'm basically saying the law is unjust and even though they broke the letter of the law, I believe it's unjust and won't return a guilty verdict that would result in imprisonment. It's not preached and some judges will get downright nasty about it, but it's founded in law as a Constitutional right.

piece of cake -
