Default B&M 3/6 QQ vs diamond flop

I honestly cannot remember the last time I won a pot with QQ. I can remember winning with AA, KK, JJ and even TT. I wonder if I am not starting to play QQ too weak-tight. This was from a B&M 3/6 game a week or so ago. The players in this hand were mostly passive and did not appear to be tricky. I’ve forgotten some of the details, but made up a similar hand:

I have Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in middle position.

2 early position limpers, I raise, folded to BB, BB calls, early players call.

Flop: 4 players, 8 SB, A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB bets, next player raises, 1 fold, I ??

There are only two opponents left, but they both liked the flop. Without the Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I didn’t think I had any good outs and I was not closing the action, so it could get raised behind me. I folded. Is this good, tight play or too weak? I don’t think I can ever remember folding a big pocket pair on the flop before.

I think you should lay down your QQ here. Given the flop action, you're likely behind, you have very few outs if behind (one of your outs to a set even gives a flush to anyone with a single diamond), and don't know how much it will cost to see the turn card. I would probably even fold if I was closing the action for a single bet. I think this is a very easy fold and that this is not the hand to win with your queens.

Easy fold with a bet and raise in front of you on that bad of a flop, especially given that the players are passive.

I can't imagine folding not being correct in this position. And it's not weak-tight, it's because you don't hate money.

Normally players you describe do not do this...

BB bets, next player raises, 1 fold, I ??

RE- RAISE....wait...wrong response.. I meant bullet FOLD..given your descriptions..

This wasn't just a call, it was a cold call. And two people bet into you as a PF raiser. And you are not closing the action. And you have 2 outs that could hit and you could still lose.

As I quickly fold I might ask for an imginary waiter and tell them the kitchen got my order wrong. I wanted chocolate and all they brought is strawberry! At least your hand died a quick death.
