Default Help a clueless guy pt. 2 - getting cancelled on

first off, just curious - how often do you get dates that get cancelled and/or rain checked?

i have always been of the opinion that if someone cancels a date in the early stage of a relationship (without an emergency-type reason), then there's a pretty good chance it's over. i think this because for me personally, if i had a date set up with someone i really wanted to see, then nothing short of a bomb going off will keep me from seeing them at the scheduled time. on the other hand if it's someone that i'm just lukewarm about, then i'd be a lot more likely to cancel for whatever bs reason i can come up with.

so in other words, if someone cancels on you, then they probably don't like you all THAT much.

is my thinking way off here?

As soon as you get punked, cut off all contact. You'll get what you want.

The way to handle this is to keep calling her for another date until she tells you she justs wants to be friends and then you act shocked.

1.) Write her an email about how dissapointed you are
2.) Before sending it, post in OOT so we can help you improve it.
3.) Send email
4.) Call her to make sure she go it.
5.)????????
6.) Profit

If she cancels, that's it. Don't sweat it, it didn't work out. She may call you back up and ask you to do something later on. Probably not though. But yeah, as far as you're concerned, it's over. Let her initiate anything in the future.
