The decision keeps getting harder! Advice
So I got into: McGill, WashU, UNC, Harvey Mudd, Claremont McKenna, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, UC Berkeley (and maybe Duke)
I had pretty much decided that it was between Columbia and Berkeley. But JHU just offered me $24k a year in a scholarship that only 20 incoming freshmen get. There's a disc golf course <1 mile from the campus and they have a great ultimate frisbee team to boot. Looks really enticing. Do you think that it would be more impressive on future applications (jobs, internships, grad school, etc.) to say I was a "Hodson Trust Scholar at JHU" than that I simply got a degree from Berkeley or Columbia? |

Hopkins ultimate team isnt that great, and don't base your college choice on ultimate (and yes, I play). columbia is the obvious choice here.

Re: The decision keeps getting harder! Advice
Aside from the really top-notch type jobs, where you went to college doesn't matter as much as whether or not you graduated.
Go where you think you'll enjoy yourself more. |

Re: The decision keeps getting harder! Advice
Girls + partying + sports + weather = UCLA. At least don't completely ignore those factors in your decision.
