Aces up facing turn CR
villain is Checkcallin, a 25/50 reg with taggy stats
nothing much going on between us in terms of history/game flow. this seems super standard given 70bb stack size + AQ 2 pair but I think it's a wrong approach to justify plays when it's tough to think of hands that would CR turn. the thing is- I can't see him check raising KQ, or check calling with A4 on the flop- so since he's rarely bluffing here or value-raising me with a worse hand, could you find a fold? Re: Aces up facing turn CR
This looks like JT more often than anything else (except him making a play at the pot with air...but like you said we don't know enough about Villian to know if he is capable of making that play).
Set of 4's most likely would raise the flop to keep you off the draws, same with KQ....but I feel both of those hands are unlikely given the flop call...AK is most likely out of the question given PF play. |

Re: Aces up facing turn CR
Your hand screems ak or aq, so this is a very bad bluf opportunity for him. However he can have kq too. Since you have to look some-one up ones in a while with this kind of hand and since it is not deep stack, I would make the call in a split second.
I think 44 way more often than 10j though. |

Re: Aces up facing turn CR
Since you have the A of spades I think a semibluf is way more unlikely, so this pushes me a little bit to a fold.
