completely mindless action films

i was hoping oot could help me compile a nice list of movies that even someone with little to no knowledge of the English language could still enjoy.

i was thinking of movies like maybe crank, commando, the transporter, etc.

obviously any movie requiring a long backstory or lots of dialogue would be no good.

Crank. Very enjoyable movie in the "way over-the-top in the first 10 minutes" vein. Funny, doesn't take itself seriously, and shot in a way that would be fun to watch with the sound off (similar to Running Scared).

Oh, and Running Scared is also another good one.

Any Jackie Chan movie would do the trick as well. I once watched a Jackie Chan double bill dubbed entirely in Vietnamese and had no problem enjoying the films.

so much of dumb & dumber's humor is derived from the stupid things the characters say... i don't think someone who didn't know english would like this movie very much.
