Default March Madness Pool

I am going to run one for MTTc, would like it if some other forums hopped in too to make it as big as possible.

J,

I'm a big fan of pools, but FWIW coordinating something like this on 2+2 forums is quite possibly a bad idea legally for 2+2.

I was about to flame El D considering that 2+2 is the home of the prop bet, but this coming from the top might be a bad idea. Jurollo, you can probably just start threads in relevant forums: Sports, POG and BBV.

I concur. I doubt Mason's lawyer would like this. If the pool is started by a member who is not a moderator, and moderators/admins/management doesn't get involved I'm pretty sure it would pass the smell test.

TT,

"If the pool is started by a member who is not a moderator, and moderators/admins/management doesn't get involved I'm pretty sure it would pass the smell test."

If it's an ongoing thread soliciting interest, organizing rules, tracking progress, and so forth, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't.

El D,

Not even if a mod posts some kind of disclaimer that it's not supported by 2+2 and that people enter this at their own risk?
