check raise AA and KK preflop, you want loose aggressives on your left.

[/ QUOTE ] To flesh this out very slightly, limp with any hand you want to play (read: good hand, not I want to play a hand cuz I'm bored) if no one has raised. If there is a raise and a call or two behind you, puuuuuuushhhhhhhh. If there is a raise and no calls, fold dominated hands like KK unless you have a good reason not to, push the others or call and stop and go or something. This is not so great at 6 max tables (and I am not just saying that because I play 6 max). On a side note: I don't think the short stack strategy is as viable in PLO any more, because you hit tables where there are multiple short stackers or tables where people know how to play against your strategy. It is probably still extremely viable in NLHE, but the strategy is considerably different due to pre flop equity differences between the games. |

please delete this thread [/ QUOTE ] How about a summary of how to turn Rolf Strategy unprofitable. These people are already playing a strategy with a reduced winrate, why not help make it more unprofitable for them? |

How about a summary of how to turn Rolf Strategy unprofitable. These people are already playing a strategy with a reduced winrate, why not help make it more unprofitable for them? [/ QUOTE ] I think basically just don't raise preflop when they limp in. For example, if you would normally pot it on the button or cutoff with a playable hand, if one of these shorties has limped in then just sweetener raise or just limp. |
