i bought 2 omaha books ...
I bought two omaha books but i don't know with which of both
i should start to read. The books are: 1. Secrets of Professional Pot-Limit Omaha 2. how good is your Pot-Limit Omaha I am a absolutly omaha-newbie so which of this books is better for a beginner? Also what can i expect from this two books? Which limits can you beat if you read and understand this book? regards jay |

Of the two, the second will be better. Slotboom's book is not for newbies.
The best for a complete beginner (because of how easy it is to find) would be Lyle Berman's section in Super System 2. |

I have become a Rolph Slotboom fan. I am clueless about PLO but I believe How Good is Your Pot Limt Omaha is written by a very loose aggresive player with excellent post flop skills and a newbie should exercise extreme caution.
I own both. |

Personally, I'd get "Omaha Poker" by Bob Ciaffone first. This is a fantastic introduction to the game. After that, read SS2 and the Slotboom book.
