Default Bounty Tourney

Playing in a live MT bounty tourney with a price on my head, what adjustments need to be made to my game?

The player pool always runs the full spectrum, fish to pros. Most of the players are average at best. They love the idea of winning extra money by coming after me. We expect about 100-120 players. Structure is slow. Deep stacks at start, 10k , with 1st level of 25/50.

Has any one been the bounty before? If so, please share your advice and experience.

Thanks, Fish R

Is this for the Shooting Star?
Edit: 100-120 players, nevermind.

Plan A: Make sure you cover the table and it's not an issue.

Plan B: I think you have to keep an eye on stack sizes and make adjustments to either over charge the draws with shorter stacks or play small ball with deeper stacks.

Are you a known player? What's your image?

If you get short, you're gonna get a lot of light calls to try and bust you and get the bounty, so just don't get short and you should be fine.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not a pro or anything but, almost everyone who typically plays in this tournament knows me and for the most part, my style. I consider myself better than at least half of players.

My image? Respectble, solid, able to make plays, not afraid to mix it up, when I show down I have at least the near nuts. They know I'm able to make big lay downs. I've made the final table several times and won the tourney twice (over two and a half years - I know not awesome) and cashed in another four, bubbled/near bubbled in another three-five. I try to be friendly (goofing around at times)at the table and people know I try to and am decent at putting people on a hand. Many know me from cash games (casinos and home games) where I'm perceived as a winning player who gives action.

My concern - 1st time bounty tourney and more people are joining because of this idea and excited to play. How crazy are people going to be coming after the bounty?

What's the heat like with average stacks? Will people call simply because I'm in the pot? Or maybe more realistically, how many more callers will I get when I'm in the pot? Seems to me that the implications of making moves and playing marginal hands might not be beneficial...
