That was a pretty sweet performance. Rather focused for them though. I hope they display some of their normal stage energy on the next song.

On a side note, Aunt Linda and the judge thing was horrible.

Re: *****Arcade Fire on SNL*****
The guitar said, "SAK VIDE PA KANPE." It apparently means, "An empty sack cannot stand up."
Also, "It's in the way that you use it!!!!" |

That was more like it. Just plain weird, energetic, and awesome. I'm really curious how that played to those who've never heard of them.

[/ QUOTE ] I thought the second song was so bad that I turned the TV off 45 seconds in. Hard to hear the lyrics though, so maybe partially technical problems to blame. |

Re: *****Arcade Fire on SNL*****
Clearly I'm not with the times, I thought there was some sort of on-set blaze during the live telecast. Disappointing thread.

Yes. The organs were up tonight. I thought they did very well. They are very popular worldwide.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think it was technical problems. Win's voice doesn't really carry very well live, IMO. Their stage show is based around the band energy and myriad of sounds. |
