Betting this flop is a must. You want to charge draws and to start building a nice sized pot if he has an A.

Id raise a little less preflop otherwise you played this hand fine. Sucks he didnt have anything.

i like everything. preflop is perfect with 2 limpers in (not sure if GrandMelon noticed the post/check)

i will just about always bet this. no reason to let a free card come off...too many cards that we dont love

QFT

Also, there are not many hands he can improve to on the turn which will make him want to put much money in, yet still be behind you. Slowplaying might get one bet on the turn from a weak hand but betting now is the best way to create a large pot if he has Ax, 33 etc. If he does have one of these hands then a club on the turn could kill your action, so just bet now.

Sorry, i think my question was misleading. I didn't mean not bet at all, I just meant bet a little less on the flop to entice him to call. Maybe like $2.50?

Nah, I think $3 is on this flop is good. If he has an ace he'll call either way and we want to charge draws as much as possible. If he doesn't have an ace or draw (or 33) he'll fold to almost any bet anyway probably. So $3 looks good here to get money in the pot.

I think you have to bet.

If you check, a club will kill your action anyway unless villain catches up with a flush, in which case you are now hoping to draw to a full house.

I think $3 was a good bet.

Maybe on a rainbow flop you could bet less, but with the two flush, I don't mind taking the pot right here.

I think I play this exactly the same way. Let me call if he has an A.
