Default HYACHAHCHACHAHCHA

Now I remember why I'm a minbet specialist. I decide, this week, what the hell let's try out NL I mean it can't be that bad, right?

So yesterday I get stacked with aces up when some dude hits a 3-outer for a straight, and now today this happened to decimate my FullTilt roll.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $55.65
UTG+1: $56.40
MP1: $104.70
MP2: $46.90
MP3: $42.60
CO: $114.85
Button: $133.60
SB: $227.25
Hero: $94.55

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 raises to $3.6</font>, 5 folds, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($10.8, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $7.5</font>, Hero calls, UTG+1 folds.

Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($25.8, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $20</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $55</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to $233</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero calls all-in $28.45</font>.
Uncalled bets: $149.55 returned to SB.

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($192.7, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $192.7)

Results:
Final pot: $192.7
<font color="#ffffff">SB showed 9h 9c</font>
<font color="#ffffff">Hero showed 5h 5s</font>

Thank heavens I have like 15k in my live bankroll to go back to the comforts of delicious 20/40 minbet. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] minbet holdem...

Of course. But this is NL baby... where you have to put a man to a decision for all his chips!

No, I dunno. I don't really know how to play NL. But I had been playing pretty tight and my flop raises were turbo-folding everyone. I thought I'd try to get a turn bet out of this guy then milk him. If I'd known he had OMG AN OVERPAIR then yeah I'd probably have raised.
