Many draws, do we call or push?
What should my line be here, call with the great odds he gave me with the min raise or just push? I wasn't too sure. I am sure it doesn't matter much either way long term but wondering if there is one "correct" way to play this?

Re: Many draws, do we call or push?
I like checking the flop to see what happens.
Once he has raised, shove, because the overlay is really good and its better than check/calling a missed turn. |

Re: Many draws, do we call or push?
Yeah, there is a good argument for checking the flop too. Say I checked, and the raiser then bets $7-8. Now what is your line? (UTG folds)

Re: Many draws, do we call or push?
A push here is pretty sexy. you are repping a lot of strength here and have some FE

Re: Many draws, do we call or push?
Since the Ace is a non spade i would just call here couse we dont want to commit our money to a higher FD that already has a pair of Aces. Also the FE in this hand is terrible (unless hes totaly empty, which is very unlikely) so i think a call is the best play here (when you did lead the flop). Best is though a c/r on the flop since its the cheapest way to see where your at since i believe you can easy can fold if he pushes your flop c/r. If he push i believe he either has A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] x[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], AQ, AK, or
AT and you obviously dont wanna call the push when all those cards is in hes probable range. |
