ive played with 3 of the players before.
husband/couple in seats 1 and 4. 30-something old guy in seat 8. two seats are available in seat 2 and 7. i choose 7 the player is really fishy looking in seat 6. and i know seat 1 is really passive. i like to attack her blinds a lot. 9-handed game. i post behind the button. folds around to the player on my right. he limps. i raise with Jd Td. folds around. he calls my raise. flop comes Jh Th 4. he bets i raise. turn 6h. he bets. my line? folds around to me. i raise with Qh 8h from hijack. SB in seat 10 3-bets it. bb folds i call. flop 2 4 6. ive seen this player bet fold more often than he probably should. he bets i call. turn a K. he bets. i raise. thoughts? few orbits later. same player. half kill. 15/30 this hand. folded to kill. kill checks his option. i raise with As 5s. button seat 10 3-bets it. bb calls. kill folds. i call. flop is 2s 3 T. bb checks. i check. button bets. bb calls. i call. turn a 7. bb checks. i check. button bets. bb folds. i raise. thoughts? |

A post like this becomes clearer if you can format it with the suit icons, and putting action on each street in single lines.
Hand 1: Your hand is too good to fold and you are confronting an unknown. I'd just call the turn, and consider raising many rivers. Observe your opponent carefully to get a better read for future hands. You said this is the guy you're planning to make money from. Hand 2: I'm okay with this pure bluff. Obviously your table image is a major factor. Hand 3: This one seems too fishy to me. You basically have to pray your opponent is on air, because I think I'd call down with just an ace. What are you representing? |
