A Couple Questions Before I Get Started

Well, no partner bites so I guess I'll go at it alone. My first question is a simple one. I'm creating a Joomla website and am thinking of switching to a MAC in the fall, this shouldn't be a problem right?

Second, are there any sites like the hire a coder sites that will develop a joomla site? I'm weighing the pros and cons of having someone initially develop the site for me and would be interested in what someone would charge to create my site.

Last, I've searched a bit and I think I know the answer, but are there any free joomla templates out there besides the 10 or so I see everyone offering? I don't think anyone would personally develop a template for free, but I may not be looking in the right places.
