Regarding #2, I am fairy sure that because of 2+2's status as the web presence of a publishing company, the site owners will not allow this.
Regarding #4, it's Hiro, short for Hirohito or the main character from Snowcrash.

It's only the sticky threads that aren't meant to recommend other people's books.
