Re: 50 this might be a stupid ?
Probably one of my massive leaks but I think I would have raised the flop bet, putting AB on 1 heart. When the 8s came and he bet I would pay off with the set. I play exclusively on stars now but can not brag about my success lol. Really looks like 2 pairs.

min-raise...fold to push
you still beat AA [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], KK [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], and 666, A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Qoff the rest have you beat |

[ QUOTE ]
villain is 9 / 1.3 / .75 [/ QUOTE ] FOLD. SB is tight-passive. PF numbers don't matter too much except that you don't expect him to show up with QQ. He keeps firing psbs into a caller and doesn't seem to mind the fact that Hero keeps calling. He fires a psb into the flop on a monotone board. What could he have? Q7, Q6, 76, A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]x, 2 random [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]s, 66, who knows what else maybe TT, 85, 54, or a bluff. On the turn he fires a 3/4 psb. He probably now has 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]s or 66, he might still have A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. He is probably not bluffing now, as he is on the passive side. On the river, he fires a psb when a blank falls. Does he have 22? NO! He either has 66 or 2 hearts. He'll have 2 hearts much more of the time than he will 66, as he played a pretty much random hand from the SB. Fold. Tight passive players don't usually try 3 barrel bluffs/semibluffs. Edit: I like how everyone else in this thread is putting Villain on something they can beat and then saying to call. |

Re: 50 this might be a stupid ?
I certainly wouldn't raise.
Folding is probably best since he is super passive and you suspect he's already got a flush or you would have raised on the flop and turn. What else could he have? 66? 76? And since it's an unraised pot, he could have any combination of XhXh. In all honesty, however, for $9.5 I'd call on the river and say, "I knew he had the flush" as the chips went the wrong direction. |
