Default Bellagio 30

Bellagio 30, incredibly juicy.
villain in this hand is a middle eastern man who seems as if has tons of money. He openly hates me though as wed had a rough session the day before. He has 3barrelled/mucked out
twice in the past 30 mins and i can see he is boiling. If he were to catch me outside of the bellagio, hed stab me in the chest with an ice pick.

I however, am running well and have the respect of the sane people at the table. I think Villian hates me for this even more.

The hand

EP limp
Villain raises from CO (range is insanely wide. this could be anything and everything).
Hero 3bets from Bttn 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
blinds fold
limper calls
villian calls

flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
checked to villian
villain bets
hero raises
ep fold
villian calls

Turn: K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
villian checks
hero bets
villian raises
hero insta 3 bets
villian calls while starring at me intensly (not sure if this is relevent)

river: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

villain donks?!
hero??

thoughts on turn action would also be appreciated

1) I don't do this almost ever preflop
2)Check the turn
3)Raise the river

If you do this too often you will be wasting chips unless villian check folds most flops.

If you don't raise this river then I think you misplayed every street. The turn is the worst.

You are trying to get way to fancy against a player whom the correct strategy is to play ABC and let him make the mistakes. When a fish sees you openly taking shots at him he is more likely to get a table change or get up and leave than stay and donate. The turn 3 is complete spewage. Obv raise river.

This is utter spew, but raise river and prepare to dodge punches.

Preflop I like vs this opponent in this circumstance.
Flop is good.
Check the turn, or at most bet/call.
Raise/call the river, given your turn action. I might put in more bets on the river had the turn action been different.

I think preflop is a pretty clear fold - don't let your desire to beat a particular player cloud your judgment. As played, I think the flop is fine. The turn bet is ok, but when you get raised I would just call. He is not going to fold a decent pocket pair (his likely holding) and he will 4-bet trips. I'd just call his raise and try to suck out.
