Default AA otb against odd villain

Early in the tournament, not much known about the villain other than he was limp calling a lot of pots early. Given the preflop action I put him on a hand like tens or total air. Is this a hand I should have been able to get away from or am I going broke here?

if he's been limp calling a lot, i fold the turn, he is passive and raising u? in the muck for me . I don't like your turn bet size though, bet more or check.

Also raise more pf ffs.

I don't think I can fold this without a better read.
Make it at least 200 pf.
What's ffs?

For f*ck's sake. Raise more pre-flop. He's not going to fold ever if he's limp calling T7o UTG so you might as well get value for all the many times that he misses.

You've got to put him on a set to fold and a set is consistent with his play. You can obv. discount T7

I'd never fold here. He can turn up with any overpair, 77 and JT.

imo, random passives don't decide to c/c one street on a connected board and then randomly c/r with a one pair hand.

In my experience, random passives can do just about anything. I'd be expecting a set here, having discounted the nuts. Pre-flop is a bigger raise, flop is a bigger bet, and by the time I've bet bigger on the turn, I'm priced in.

I shouldn't have assumed he was overplaying a worse hand as I was value betting the whole way. This is an area that I feel I need to improve on because I'm likely doubling him up almost every time.

Not your fault I would say. There is nothing that you can do to know that this random donk has just called a 4x bb raise from utg+1 and flopped the nuts, especially after his play from before. Coming from your experience from him. I would put him on having probably flopped a pair and with the lowish board was hoping his K9 was good or something to that effect.

But, this is why people play these types of hands, to get really lucky against someone who like yourself had a strong hand and just got outflopped hardcore.

raise more pf, bet more on the flop.

make them pay to see a flop like this, and to see the turn on a board like this.
