Anyone receive checks from Bodog yet?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has received their checks from bodog, since they withdrew their direct depoist option?

I also, want to get some opinion on whether any other online sports books/poker have ever just stopped paying customers and shut down. I guess I am overreacting, but it's been a while.

I have one check by mail and one by courier for some pretty good money, and I want to put it in my budget. Otherwise, my trip to vegas in March is going to be a little less uneventful...ha.

Any insight on online books, payment, etc. would be great! Thanks!

i got a check from bodog this morning. there is a thread in the zoo with lots of people saying they've gotten paid recently.

there have been a *few* sportsbooks that just shut down and left with the money. betonsports and golfinggods both stiffed me last year.

it doesn't happen often, but if ever there was a time for it to occur to devastating effect, it is right now. so far things look okay, but i am being rather cautious overall with how much money i'm leaving out there.

I had calle bodog before I deposited, and they said they can send your money to western union, they will cover the fee's and you have to just go pick it up...

i already withdrew like 3 weeks ago, i probably can't ask for money transfer through western union, can I. For future reference Iif you have the time), can you walk me through the logistics of a western union withdraw through bodog, I've never used it.

After you cash out via Western Union, you'll receive an e-mail with details. (EDIT: I got mine about a day later, and I was withdrawing during the crazy few days after Neteller's closing.) There'll be a number, a name, and some other information. Go to WesternUnion.com and find the closest WU station to you.

Go there with a printout of your information. They'll give you a form that you have to fill out with your information and information from the e-mail.

Since, in my case anyway, I was asking for more money than they had on them at the time, they gave me a check that I deposited in my bank with no problem.

I asked for a check by mail like 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. I actually withdrew just enough to use the courier option sans fee, but I figured I'd do them a favor since I was in no rush. I wish I would have done otherwise now. :/

Just got my tracking number emailed to me. I should expect the check soon. That's good news. Bodog is legit. I'll make a post when I actually get the check though. Thanks for the help guys.
