25NL 6Max - Flopped Idiot end in BB
Not many reads on table... none worth acting on anyways.
Was I too aggressive here? I figured better to take it down as soon as I could... Your straight is fine, unless he doesn't raise preflop with AK. I think you could have bet less than the pot on the turn, though...how about two-thirds of the pot or thereabouts?

If you figure villian is drawing I figure that's the best way to go at it but you could also try and extract some more money agianst weaker holdings that don't contain a ace and bet like 3.90 though your turn bet is a good play aswell.

Re: 25NL 6Max - Flopped Idiot end in BB
Maybe this is nitty, but my thinking was a lot of what he'd be calling with could be two pair, or drawing.
In that case, I'd have to dodge pretty much any card from 8 (for a split) to A. Any paired board, 9,K, or A, I have a hard time calling a river bet. Yikes. That does sound really nitty. Regardless, thought I was saving myself a hard decision by taking it on the turn. |
