Default Split Pot EV

Stacks are very similar ~t1000 early in a tourney,
Blinds t10-t20

Folded to me with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in the cutoff, I raise to t60
button calls,
SB calls,
BB calls

Flop comes K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB checks,
BB checks,
I check,
Dealer goes all in,
SB Calls. I know this person to be a solid player, and put him on QT 95%, which makes me think Dealer is on a flush draw, or possibly but unlikely also QT.
BB Folds,
I call without hesitation, but now I'm rethinking.

Since the person behind me called the all in, and I am almost completely sure he has my hand, and could potentially have Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], is it -EV to call here?

You are very good at ranges.

Are you god?

btw, you are very confident SB would have folded J9s here?

This is a person I've sat with quite a few times, not a complete stranger. I think 95% is very reasonable. Do you have any input on the EV assuming the read is accurate?

Lets say i saw his cards, and I know he has QT, is the play -EV? If not, would it be -EV if I were only 50% sure? 75%?

Sorry for my crass first response.

There is no way to know that someone had QT and you are being results oriented.

It is very possible that he has KJ/J9/99/JJ/A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]/K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q:diamond/K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in this spot.

You also can not know that the other guy has a flush draw. Saying that you are 95% sure of their holdings is just foolish.

If you only want the math on the problem then go to www.twodimes.net/poker and type in the three hands that you know that they had and it will tell you your EV.

In holdem you should NEVER fold the nuts (unless you are in a bizzare satellite situation in the BB where you have the seat locked up)

In omaha there are some times where the nuts should be folded but this should never be done in holdem.
