NL25: Dealt A4s sb, turn pulls a combo draw
Can I extract mo-money from this?
Villain is 50/17 over 30ish hands. Absolute Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 4 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $24.15 Button: $15.89 boycalledroy: $24.55 BB: $49.91 Pre-flop: (4 players) boycalledroy is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 folds, boycalledroy calls, BB checks. Okay, hands like this I generally raise when its folded round to me, I'd have probably stacked him if I did that. The downside is I get too attached oop too often I think. Flop: ($0.5) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) boycalledroy bets $0.5, BB calls. MASH THE BET POT BUTTON, PRAY HE RAISES. Smooth call, hope he has flush draw, guess he has ace. Turn: ($1.5) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) boycalledroy bets $0.75, BB raises to $3, boycalledroy calls. Oh dear. Hope and pray this aint a boat, folding seems gay tho. Just call, if he has a boat he's taking my monies when I hit a flush. River: ($7.5) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) boycalledroy bets $3, BB calls. Superflush. Great card for him if he has a massive hand. He called, if he pushed I'd have called and cried I guess. I wasn't getting away from this hand. Results: Final pot: $13.5 He didn't have a boat, he had A3. Kicking myself for being tighter because of the two other hands in the other thread! |

Re: NL25: Dealt A4s sb, turn pulls a combo draw
I raise preflop to $1, flop bet is fine, I'd probably bet a bit more on the turn and call the minraise but I'd lead the river for more like $5.
