Searching Archive

I'm fine searching the forums until it comes to searching the archives.
I click on older archives then recent archives and I'm instantly logged out?

I try logging back in and it doesn't recognise my user name?
If I try to continue searching all I see is the faq's by perkins and the mod as weinstock.

The FAQ doesn't appear to address the archive search function. Can anyone tell me how to list the archive with all posts archived or at least how to search on username?

To read the posts on the archive server in much the same way you would read the forums, once you enter an archived forum, click on the "change" button next to "Show all posts".
