Default Risks with using VPN?

Are there any risks with subscribing to a VPN service?

I'm going on a semi-long trip and would like to set up a VPN connection for continuing with casino and sports bonuses. I'm thinking I want to rent a VPN connection with a company that offers such services in Sweden, if there are any.

Are there any risks for me when I do this? Can a corrupted company or employee take control of my computer, or get hold of my passwords, see everything that I'm doing or do anything else to take my money?

These are all possible concerns, yes. Sweden, however, is a poor place to use VPN connectivity, considering that many casinos ban or restrict Swedish players (IIRC).

Some ban swedes. But I've singned up to like 80 casinos already and would like to keep doing monthlies and reloads.

Is there any global VPN service provider that works in Sweden as well and is very reputable?

Not that I know of, unfortunately. Freakin and I handle the UK and Canada for now.
