Re: 22...QQ flops an Ace
pay him off, but fold to any substantial bet on the river. A fold on the turn looks really weak and i would just call in order to not be exploitable.
But make sure that you check your AK next time to the same villain. This way people stop floating you. Sometimes i c/r all in, but only with a good read. So in general you want to keep face and call small bets, because people are bluffing a lot here. But expect to see Ax most of the time. |

Re: 22...QQ flops an Ace
I check the flop. If I do bet it's a lot smaller.

Re: 22...QQ flops an Ace
For me in general I don't like to check any flop I raise PF and get a heads-up confrontation for a lot of reasons...I agree to an extent about the bet on the flop...how much do you think is wise?

Re: 22...QQ flops an Ace
I'd call a small bet, just dump if he pots it. Fold the turn regardless. Maybe call a small river bet if he checks turn.

Re: 22...QQ flops an Ace
if villain is w/t this flop bet is crappy, but i dont really ever bet here anyways. turn is a super easy c/f vs almost all opponents but even easier vs this one. usually in these spots i will c/c small bets sometimes just c/f.

Re: 22...QQ flops an Ace
If he is tight, his limping range is most likely small PPs. I bet half pot on flop and check/call all small bets and make a note that he is not W/T if he shows me anything besides a PP.

Re: 22...QQ flops an Ace
yeah I agree the turn is an easy muck...I told villian he should've pushed PF...then I mucked...his response was "with what."..."If your bluffing then your gonna be out real soon."...no follow up response...villian was out an orbit later.

Re: 22...QQ flops an Ace
Think he had Ax? He's probably not W/T then.
