Default Dell 2007FP vs Dell 2407WFP

So, after returning one of defective 204B monitors (i wrote previously about the flickering bug) i finally settled at one of those 2 monitors.
The question is, how much better is 2407?
Can i 6table (without resizing) on it?
Is it basically the same monitor, just a little wider (for which i have no extra use for then)?
Or is this much better?

In Israel first one costs 595$ and the second one 1142$.
The money is not that significant to me:i can afford either one, but i don't want to throw away $$$ for nothing either.
So, what do you think?

P.S: For those of you that don't know what flickering bug i am talking about, read here - mine have the same problems

The 2407wfp is 1920x1200, the 2007fp is 1600x1200.

Neither will allow you to 6 table with no overlap or resizing. The 3007wfp is 2560x1600 and will allow for 6 tabling with no overlap or resizing.

If I played on FTP or Stars, I'd go with the 2407wfp, as Stars resizes now, and FTP should in the near future. Anywhere else, I'd go with a 2 monitor setup or the 3007wfp.

The 2407 is a widescreen, so max resolution is 1920x1200. So no, you will not be able to 6 table without overlap if you dont play somewhere that offers resizable tables.

If you are playing at Stars or Party where you can resize, 6 tables will fit great on there with just a little reduction.

Just get the 3007WFP if money isn't a huge issue, can 6 table on it without overlap using regular sized tables or 9 with a little reduction at its max resolution, 2560x1600. That is what I am hoping to get sooner or later.

Edit: Choppy beat me to it.

I just checked, the 3007WFP costs almost 2500$ in Israel and i do have one LCD already...
So, basically, what are you both saying is either to get 1 3007WFP (i mostly 6 table only anyway) or 2 regular 20" LCDs?

If money is any consideration, the 2 20's would be alot cheaper. Which is what I have right now. But if I had to do over again and the 30" was only $1250 USD then as it is now, I would of bought just the 30".

The dual setup is great but I would rather just have the tables on one larger screen in front of me and not having to move back and forth across both screens.

If money is an issue, just get another 20 or 24". Also, the 30" is almost too large and leads to eye-strain after using it for too long. The brightness is too bright even when turned all the way down, and the real estate is just too much for extended use, IMO.

I have a 30 and 2 20s, and I only use the 30 for poker, I do most of my browsing, etc. on my old 20".

Neither I'd go for 37" Westinghouse 1080P for playing at sites that allow resizing... It's great. Thats what I use.
