Will SupCom overshadow the goodness that is C&C3?
How many of you who already have SupCom will buy C&C3?
How many of you who don't have SupCom plan to buy C&C3? Will Supcom own joo C&C3? Thoughts? |

I have Supreme Commander, played it for an hour and uninstalled for a rainy day.
I have Kane Edition preordered and I'm sure it will be way, way better than Total Annihilation 1.1. |

Should be interesting.
Where's Starcraft 2 when you need it. |

I really don't think you can compare the two games, and you really can't compare SupCom to most strategy games at that. It is so massive in scale, while C&C3 is still using a dated RTS format if you ask me. It's gonna look pretty, with cool units, but it's a lot more of the same thing.
That said, I bought SupCom and I plan on buying C&C3 because it will still be a fun game. |

Re: Will SupCom overshadow the goodness that is C&C3?
Don't you have that backwards? SupCom came out first.
I bought SupCom, and TA was my favorite game I ever played. I also, back in teh day, bought C&C and played the daylights out of it, and also Red Alert,a nd I think C&C 2. I might buy this version, too, because it's a fun and basically simple franchise. I understand this C&C will be good for really quick games, which I like playing sometimes. It's nice to have a choice between quick games and long ones, and that's reason enough to own them both. Aside from teh fact that their predecessors were both terrifically fun, absolutely superior games when they came out. |

I beat the #2 2v2 ladder team the other day, felt good. (supcom obv)
The game before we got destroyed by the #1 team (made up of #1 Unconquerable and #6 Mentel from the 1v1 ladder) I really like SupCom... CC3 seems like it is just more of the same... |

Re: Will SupCom overshadow the goodness that is C&C3?
I'm the biggest Total Annihilation fan ever, but I liked C&C too and will probably get this new one too. Don't see anything wrong with trying both. My system can't really handle SupCom anyway. Maybe I'll stuff a 7800 in my AGP slot and try again, though.
