Default fold QQ ?

sorry dont have HH but

Stars 100 NL, 2nd hour. I'm at 18,000, villian is 25,000, blinds at 400/800

I'm UTG with QQ, raise it up to 2,400.

Villian is UTG+1, reraises to 8,000.

Hero?

Ok, normally this isnt even a question for me i'm generally pushing QQ all day with anyone else at that table.

However this guy has been very tight, he has been to my left for 2+ hours since hand 1, have not seen him reraise one time. He has shown down only good hands and seems to be a solid TaG. He has been quite willing to fold his BB, seemed very patient.

We were prolly 30 min from the bubble at this time, maybe that was in the back of my head i dont know.

Eek, fold. I think you're very likely a dog or maybe flipping.

Given his image I say just get away from it here and live to fight another day.

Yeah, i found the fold but still wondering if he wouldve made that reraise with AK. Not sure about my table image, prolly pretty tight though.

funny, later when we were down to 12 or so, i got caught in SB between the same TaG (in BB) and an aggro button who had raised all in for half my stack. I called all-in with a good ace, but got reraised by TaG for last half of my chips and sure enough he flipped over KK to take us both out.

Wish I couldve found the fold the second time against this guy.

Folding is probably good, I wouldn't blame you for calling and getting it on a flop with no A or K either.

Even if you're sure AK is in his range you still have to fold. It's a crappy spot. If you call and there's an A or K flop, JJ/TT push you off the best hand. If there's no A/K, you're still not sure if you're ahead.

fold. plenty of chips left if you fold and you would kick yourself if you ignored the signs.
