Puppy Bowl III

For the third year in a row, Animal Planet will be showing the Puppy Bowl while the Super Bowl is on (and several times afterwards). If you are susceptible to being hypnotized by the cuteness of puppies, then this show can be strangely appealing.

Animal Planet has it scheduled to air four times at 3pm PST, 6pm, 9pm, and midnight (lasting three hours each time).

What is the Puppy Bowl? It's just puppies playing with each other in a little football stadium. Yet, somehow it's awesome.

Wow, I don't get this at all.

Could they at least mix the kitties and puppies together? Or set several of the sponsor's vacuum cleaners loose in the arena?

Thanks for the HU! I'm watching it now, it's pretty cute. And it has an announcer. It is, however, making my Westhighland terrier (Benjamin) nuts. He's jumping up against the TV trying to get at the other dogs and running around to the back of the TV to sniff it.
